About the course:

ICAI – WIRC in association with School of Data Science and Business Intelligence (SDBI) presents 60hrs online training in Data Analytics and Database Management

This course presents a gentle introduction into the concepts of data analysis, the role of a Data Analyst, and the tools that are used to perform daily functions. This to help students and members upskill themselves and embrace new age opportunities.

Highlights of the program

1. Get hands on training in Data tools and understand practical use cases of these new-age tools in the accounting and finance world.

2. Understand how professional data analytics techniques can be combined with traditional audit approaches enabling new ways for auditors to interrogate, understand, and gain assurance over client data.

3. Test entire data sets rather than extrapolating samples. This will increase efficiency and streamline processes, ultimately improving the quality of audits.

4. Introduce new areas of advisory of using data to drive business strategy and performance.

5. Predictive accounting to become competitive and add value to their clients as they continue with their professional development education over the lifetime of their professional activities.

 Program Delivery Details:

  • Course shall be conducted per the following time table
    • Day one --- 2hrs 10 am to 12 noon
    • Saturday---- 10 am to 2 pm (4 hours)
    • Sunday ----- 10 am to 2 pm (4 hours)
  • Program shall be conducted online, and each participant shall be given access to SDBI’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Post the completion of each Part, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from ICAI-WIRC.
  • On completion of this program you will receive SDBI digital badge to share with your online professional network, which is available as a downloadable PDF certificate suitable for printing and framing.
